The Church of the Advent’s Theology on Tap
program continues Tuesday May 9 with the next installment of our series “After Christendom” — now at a
new location in Boston’s Back Bay!
Our fourth speaker in this series is Peter Beinart, contributing editor at The Atlantic and associate professor of journalism and political science at the City University of New York. 
Peter will be developing his recent reflections on how the culture war is being replaced by an even more toxic state of affairs in post-Christian America. As he has recently written, “For years, political commentators dreamed that the culture war over religious morality that began in the 1960s and ’70s would fade. It has. And the more secular, more ferociously national and racial culture war that has followed is worse.”
